Dr Han Tie

Dr Han Tie is one of Qscan Group’s new Body Imaging fellows. A recent fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, she completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree at Griffith University in 2009, followed by radiology training at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Han is particularly interested in chest and abdominal imaging and musculoskeletal injections, and enjoys teaching, having been involved in medical student selection, education, and assessment at the University of Queensland since 2010. She is also the Secretary of the Queensland Chinese Doctors Association, organising educational events for General Practitioners and the general public.

Dr Jeff Hocking

Dr. Jeff Hocking (MBBS, FRANZCR) completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Griffith University in Queensland, and after his initial medical training at the Gold Coast Hospital, completed his specialist radiology training at the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.

He subsequently undertook subspecialty advanced fellowship training in Chest and Cardiac imaging in Toronto in 2022/’23, at the University of Toronto/University Health Network (UHN) affiliated hospitals, developing a special interest in High Resolution CT Chest (HRCT), lung biopsy and Cardiac MRI. While his passion lies in cardiothoracic imaging, he has an interest in all modalities and procedures, and enjoys his day to day interactions with patients and referrers.

Dr Shipra Verma

Dr. Shipra Verma is originally from India and obtained her medical degree at Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, Punjab.

She is a dual specialist in Nuclear Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in Australia. She commenced her Geriatric Medicine training in the Western Australian Geriatric Inter-hospital Training program in 2013, gaining fellowship with RACP in 2016.

She then commenced her Advanced Training in Nuclear Medicine at Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia in 2016. She completed further two years of training, including a year of fellowship specializing in PET/CT and radionuclide therapy at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth in 2019.

She was elected to the Memberships of the Royal colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2016.

Her sub-specialty interests are primarily in Dementia Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy.

Shipra holds a post at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital as a Geriatrician, and Q scan Radiology clinics in WA as a PET Physician. She also holds a locum appointment at Fiona Stanley Hospital, working both a Nuclear Medicine and PET Physician.

She is a member of AANMS, RACP, and RCP (London).

Lil Bianchi

Lil brings international board and executive experience in business transformation, technology, and risk. She has built growth for global listed billion-dollar corporations through to tech start-ups across health, finance, and transport sectors. Lil has a track record in innovation and international research with technology product expertise in AI and SaaS. Lil has strong governance experience including Chair of Audit and Risk for an ASX listed MedTech.

Michael Brook

Michael currently works for Morrison & Co’s Wellington office on the origination, analysis and execution of their private investment activity in New Zealand and Australia. Michael has covered a range of sectors, developing a specialisation in retirement village living and aged care and was a key member of the deal teams responsible for leading Morrison & Co’s Metlifecare and Retire Australia investments. Prior to joining Morrison & Co Michael worked for a wealth management firm and in the Corporate Finance team at KPMG in Wellington.

Dr Guido Marks

Guido attained his Bachelors of Science, Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2013. He completed his Residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital before commencing his Diagnostic Radiology specialty training on the Gold Coast, continuing at Townsville, Logan Hospitals, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Guido has special interests in Body imaging, Ultrasound-guided and CT-guided pain management and diagnostic biopsy procedures.

Guido is passionate about education and has a keen interest in the training of new Radiologists, junior doctors and medical students. He has enjoyed his roles as a Lecturer at Griffith University and mentor to Radiology Registrars in-training.

Guido is committed to providing the highest quality Radiology imaging service to all private and public hospital patients, and all referrers of Qscan Radiology Clinics.

Dr Damian Brauchli

Dr Damian Brauchli is a dual trained radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist.

After completing medical training at the University of Tasmania, Damian relocated to the mainland for additional training. He completed a year of research at the Royal Brisbane and Womens’ Hospital before training in radiology and completing a fellowship in nuclear medicine.

His key area of research is molecular imaging of prostate cancer. Damian’s interests include oncological imaging including PET-CT and musculoskeletal interventions.

John Livingston

John was previously one of the founding partners of Lake Imaging, subsequently forming Integral Diagnostics Ltd (ASX:IDX), where John was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. John was awarded the AGFA International Award for Development of Digital Imaging Solutions in 2005.

John is currently a executive director of 4D Medical (ASX:4DX) and sits on the remuneration and nominations committee, a current non-executive director at Comrad Medical System where he is currently Chairman, a director at Ballarat Clarendon College, a former director of VicWest Community Telco and United Way.

Dr Gus McKenzie

Dr Gus McKenzie (MBBS, FRANZCR) completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Griffith Medical School in 2010 and completed his Specialist training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2018, based at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Gus then completed a subspecialty fellowship with Qscan in Body/Abdominal imaging and Musculoskeletal imaging in 2019. Prior to his MBBS and FRANZCR, Gus completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2005, achieved first class honours in Exercise Physiology, and was awarded a Physiological Society’s Research grant (2006).

While Gus has an interest in many areas of Radiology his primary area of interest includes Body MRI and he takes part in several multidisciplinary team meetings in this area including surgical, gastrointestinal, and urology meetings. Gus also enjoys teaching Registrars and Body Fellows as part of his daily work.

Contrary to popular belief about Radiologists, Gus enjoys meeting patients and referrers and believes in a patient-centric approach to medicine, including Radiology. He is also not above the use of Dad jokes and has an unhealthy reliance on memes.
