Dr Vinicius Carraro do Nascimento is an Interventional Radiologist and Interventional Neuroradiologist at Gold Coast University Hospital and Qscan Radiology. In 2010, he completed his medical studies at the Federal University Foundation of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and moved to Australia to become a diagnostic and interventional radiologist.
After becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2019, he relocated to New Zealand, where he completed a one-year fellowship in interventional radiology. From May 2020 to May 2022, he completed an additional fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Gold Coast University Hospital, where he works as a consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist.
Dr Vini's main interests are acute stroke and intracranial aneurysm treatment. He reviews several journals, including the Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery and Neuroradiology.
