Nowra’s First Ever PET-CT Service at South East Radiology

South East Radiology, part of Qscan Group, welcomes the commencement of the region's very first PET-CT service in Nowra, NSW at Standish Medical Centre clinic.

Significant investment has been made to ensure that the new clinic’s facilities deliver the very best care for patients in the region. Improving the time of a diagnosis will expedite treatment leading to improved health outcomes for local patients and the wider community. 

PET-CT is a premium technology with significant clinical benefits for the early detection and staging of a variety of cancers. The technology enables the execution of novel, cutting edge procedures including state of the art diagnostic procedures for prostate cancer and early onset dementia.

The clinic is taking patient bookings now and offering a fully Bulk Billed service for Medicare-eligible Specialist PET-CT referrals.

Qscan Group currently operates 8 PET-CT facilities located in Queensland (Mackay, North Lakes, Annerley, Southport), TAS (Hobart), WA (Rockingham), ACT (Canberra), NSW (Nowra) with a 9th Service soon to commence in Windsor Gardens in South Australia in early 2021.
