About

Dr Peter Jackson is a radiologist at Qscan Radiology Clinics based on the Gold Coast. He completed his graduate medical degree in 2001 at the University of Queensland followed by internship and residency at the Townsville Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.


Peter undertook 5 years of radiology training in Queensland based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, including his first year of training in nuclear medicine. In 2010, he completed his final year of training at the Department of Nuclear Medicine and the Clinical PET Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, where he gained expert tuition from some of the world’s leading onco-radiologists and nuclear physicians. 

Peter has spent more than a decade attending most of the multidisciplinary oncology meetings on the Gold Coast and has been the supervisor of training for nuclear medicine specialists at Qscan for more than eight years. He maintains strong relationships with leading GPs and specialists across Southeast Queensland.
